...are just a few of the things I enjoy in addition to music, theatre, dance, and film. I was born in Tucson, Arizona and began dancing and performing in musicals in elementary school. In fifth grade, my teachers were loving (and crazy) enough to let me direct, compose, choreograph and star in The Lizard of Claws, a musical I wrote based on The Wizard of Oz, featuring the characters of Shirley Temple, Henry Hudson, and a pilgrim. A few years later, I attended French Woods Festival and Broadway Theatre Project and soon I knew I wanted to pursue acting professionally.
At Wright State University, I studied Acting with a Musical Theatre Emphasis and wrote my first full-length play, Wild Card, which was produced in the Jubilee Directing Lab at WSU (sans Shirley Temple and Henry Hudson). I graduated summa cum laude with my BFA and moved to New York City.
I’ve continued to audition, take class, and perform at venues around the city, such as 54 Below, BMI, Naked Angels/Tuesday's at 9, HB Studios and The Duplex, and outside the city, such as Theater at Woodshill and Axelrod Performing Arts Center. In addition to performing, you can find me outside most mornings before the sun comes up with my running team, Streets 101. Thanks for stopping by!
